Artist statement

I am a person who likes to experiment with new art forms, so my art is constantly exploring the possibilities of interdisciplinary art. As an international student, from China to Singapore to the UK, from East Asia, South East Asia to Europe, different cultural backgrounds have brought me very different experiences. Therefore, I always try to blend different cultures in my works, to feel the same charm of different cultures from East and West.

Artist bio

Born and raised in Kunming, China, Zhang Runhan received her art education from an early age. She is studying at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. Zhang Runhan is currently researching interdisciplinary art, combining different disciplines in art into a new artwork. Through the study of the evolution of Eastern and Western traditional art. Presenting different artistic mediums simultaneously in a series of works. Because of the influence of abstract expressionism, the works are mainly in the form of abstract expression.
